Hi SandraJust a quick note to say "hi" and tell you that George is doing great. He has adapted quickly to life here in Southern California and is loving his time at the beach. He has become a bit of a 'local celebrity' and all the neighborhood kids and surfers call him by name and will stop and rub his belly when he is on the beach. He loves the attention.
I also want to share that we would have loved to come home to attend "Newfstock" as it looks like it will be a great event, but George will be competeing in the 2010 California Dog Surfing Championships in Huntington Beach on September 19th. I think he is much better prepared this year and has had a lot of practice (last year the competition was only the second time he was on a surfboard and he came 3rd) It will be a lot of fun, but we will be thinking of everyone up at Newfstock and wish you all the best for a great event!
