All about Montego

This handsome boy arrived in our care on February 21 and is getting settled into his foster home.  We are told he is a Newf/Mastiff/Bernese Mountain Dog mix--we think he's pretty gorgeous!
Monty and his brother Bentley were turned over to a shelter when their owner passed away.  We were asked by the shelter to bring the boys into our care......how could we say no to these faces?

Monty knows some basic commands but can be a bit stubborn in following through.  Thanks to a Nothing in Life is Free approach, he is making good progress and is really coming along well.

He has been brought up to date on vaccines and is now recovering from neuter surgery.

He is currently under assessment in foster care.  Further details will be posted as we get to know him.

To be considered for adopting a dog through Newf Friends please submit a completed application, which can be found on the CONTACT US/FORMS page. Before completing an application or emailing us with questions, please review our FAQ page.  As outlined on our FAQ page, applicants who do not meet our adoption requirements (ie. no fenced play area, living in an apartment building, having young children, etc.) will not be considered -- please do not email us asking us to make an exception.
