All about
Hugo is gentle, friendly, loving and sweet as can be. Young at heart, this silly boy has a sparkle in his eye and loves to greet everyone with a wagging tail and smiling face.

This adorable ol' boy arrived in our care through no fault of his own when his owners were moving overseas and did not want to put him through the stress of a huge move like that.   He is settling into his foster home nicely, gets along with other dogs and is an all-around lovely boy.

On intake, we noted that his gait was poor and that he seemed uncomfortable.  We have started him on anti-inflammatory meds and he is doing MUCH better and now has a spring in his step and is moving around a lot more.  Yay! Ongoing pain management will be key for Hugo to ensure that he enjoys a great quality of life.

Hugo takes thyroid meds to keep his thyroid function in check.  He is current on his rabies vaccine and is HW and Lyme free.

He is underweight at the moment but bloodwork all looks good, and he is eating well and improving daily.

Hugo is ready to join a loving home.  Maybe yours?
