This evening, I killed one of my favourite patients.

Hi There, I just wanted to touch base and let you know that I have Wendy (who we now call Rosie). She is a beautiful puppy and so affectionate. She likes nothing more than to cuddle. And the really great news is that she is very gentle with my two granddaughters (2 ½ and 9 months) which was really the important part.
The big love-bug Anna is still waiting for the right family to come along. This adorable girl is loving, affectionate and a pleasure to spend time with. She's great in the house, knows her basic commands, and will be a terrific companion for the right family. Read more about Anna under the available dogs link to the right.
Butters (above) and her sister Wendy (below) have both been adopted and are doing great in their new homes.
Kyle is still available for adoption. He is doing great in his foster home and is growing quickly! He is an affectionate, happy, athletic boy who will make a wonderful addition to the right family. Read more about him under the available dogs link to the right.
Mika is also doing well in her foster home. She has started to drop some of her excess weight, and her fitness is improving already. She is enjoying getting out and moving around at her foster home, aka "doggy boot camp". It will be a while until she is ready to be spayed, but applications for her adoption are being accepted. You can read more about Mika under the available dogs link to the right.
Delphine is also doing great and making progress in her foster home. Pictured above, she is relaxing with some of the other dogs in her foster home. She will be ready to be spayed soon, and then will be ready to join an adoptive home. This sweet girl is a real love bug and is going to make one lucky family very happy. Read more about her and see more pictures under the available dogs link to the right.
Sweet Mackenzie is making lots of progress in her foster home as she waits for the right family to come along to adopt her. This little ball of love is affectionate, playful, and fun loving. Her spay surgery has been delayed until early November, but she will be ready to join an adoptive home soon. Read more about "Macaroni" under the available dogs link to the right.

Previously used as breeding stock, Delphine's owner had changes in their life situation and made the decision to turn the girls over to us to ensure that they ended up in the best homes possible. Delphine has been working on her basic house manners and is ready to become a family member in her future adoptive home.

Vet checked upon intake. Delphine is UTD on vaccines, no fleas, treated for parasites. Her heart sounds good, with no murmurs.
Samson (above) and Satchmo (below) were both adopted by great families. Congratulations all around.
Beautiful Anna (above) is still searching for a very special family to call her own. This affectionate girl needs some loving and stability in her life. You can read all about her under "Available Dogs" to the right.
Sweet Mackenzie is doing great in her foster home. This fun loving girl is on the mend, her skin infections and eye infection are cleared and she goes back to her vet later this week for a re-check. Hopefully she is now healthy enough to spay and have eye surgery and get ready for adoption. She has a wonderful, gentle Newf temperament and will make a great addition to the right family.
Kyle, the Berner/Saint/Newf mix and his two sisters are doing well in foster care and we hope that some terrific families come along for them soon. These adorable 13 week old pups are real love bugs! Kyle is a real character, full of love!
Butters, Kyle's sister is cute as can be, and loves to snuggle and give kisses. What a sweetheart she is!
Wendy, another of Kyle's sisters has moved to a foster home in the Ottawa area where she is making herself right at home. What a sweet girl, Wendy is social and loving!
New arrivals yesterday afternoon are Mika and Delphine. These gorgeous Landseers are in foster care for assessment. See our "Available Dogs" listings for more info.

Hi Allison,
Quick update on Jethro. He is doing great. Not an early morning kinda guy. He lumbers down when he knows his breakfast is ready, then out to do business and back to bed with Dad.
Am attaching photo of Craig and the dogs on our hike. The other day the 2 girls flushed out a jack rabbit and it ran right by Jethro. Good thing he’s pretty slow. The rabbit escaped. I don’t think the girls were too impressed with his hunting skills. Haha
He’s working out great. Him and Moose have only had a couple of minor snap offs. Jethro gives Moose his space.
We are very happy to have Jethro and I really am amazed at how quickly he has fit right in.
Carol
