Update - November 20, 2010

Beautiful Anna is making great strides in her foster home, but is still waiting for that special family to come along. Working with a trainer, her dedicated foster guardians are hard at work to improve Anna's on leash skills and social behaviour when meeting new dogs. She is making terrific progress. She would love to find a family of her own. View Anna's bio here.

Congratulations Mimi (aka Mika) on your adoption! What a lucky girl! Read all about Mimi and the other dogs who have found their forever homes on the Happy Endings page.

As one goes out, another comes in. A new arrival is coming today, details to follow in a few days.

Say hello to Maverick. This handsome 5 year old Landseer has been with us a week now and is doing great in his foster home. Read all about him under the available dogs link to the right. This love-bug is a great boy! Read his full bio.

Foster Homes Needed! We are still in need of foster homes in Ontario, from Niagara through to the Quebec border, and up through Sudbury.

If you think you would be interested in providing a foster home for a Newf in need please complete our Foster Application form and return it to us at newf.friends@gmail.com

Mackenzie will now be known as "the Newf that refuses to be spayed." This girl has done everything to derail our plans to spay her. From staph infections to abscesses, there's always something preventing her surgery. Her spay surgery has been postponed AGAIN because she has gone into heat. Once her heat is over we will wait a few weeks to allow her blood vessels to return to normal, then she will go in for her spay and cherry eye surgery. We are looking at mid January. Read Mackenzie's bio.

Delphine is doing great in her foster home, with the exceptional care of her foster guardian, her health issues are on the mend. She will be having her spay surgery and entropion surgery very soon. This sweet gal is going to make one very lucky family so happy! Read Delphine's bio.
