4 year old beauty River arrived in our care last week and she needs your help! This sweet girl's legs are a mess and we are enlisting the help of a Soft Tissue Surgeon to perform multiple specialized surgeries to help repair her legs and enable her to live the life she deserves. Donations are desperately needed to help us cover the high cost of River's veterinary care. We expect that she will be in our foster program for approximately 6 months, require up to 3 surgeries and extensive rehabilitation before she is healed and ready to be adopted. Thank you to all of the generous donors who have contributed towards River's veterinary care so far. Over $1400 have come in over the last week, but we still have a long way to go! We are estimating that over the next few months we will need approximately $6000 to cover River's vet bills, pain medications and expenses during her time in foster care. Also new in our program is 6 year old love bug Otis. This gorgeous purebred Landseer is in the loving care of Dr. Janice who is working hard to resolve his skin/feet/ear issues. Yogi the Saint (who we are fostering for our parent group HART) is still waiting for a family to come along - please spread the word!!!
