Jade has been with us for almost two years
now. And much has changed since we first adopted her. We added another (human)
baby to our family about 10 months after she joined us and then we moved about
400km north to Sudbury, Ontario in Dec 2012.
Jade has taken all the changes completely
in stride. She had a great time this winter with all the snow.
Her personality is so friendly and calm
that we decided to have her tested to become a St. John’s Ambulance therapy
dog. She passed with flying colours and will start visits very soon. Most of
her initial work will be in senior residences but hopefully once she gets
enough experience she will also start to do some school visits etc. She loves
people of all ages. And everyone loves
our gentle giant, Jade.
Here are some recent pictures of Jade. We
call her nanny Jade because she insists on following the baby around. Although
that might be more for the potential food that he likes to throw off his tray, more
than actually taking care of the baby ;).

I hope this email finds everyone at Newf
Friends well! We couldn’t be happier with our decision to add Jade to our
family in Sept 2011.
