All About T-Bone
T-Bone, and his sister Betty-Lou arrived in our care on May 1 when changes in their owner's life situation made it necessary for them to find a new home. They are said to be Newf x Old English Sheepdog. They are not bonded, and are happily living in separate foster homes.
T-Bone is smaller than his sister, at approximately 100lbs, and could stand to lose at least 10 lbs.
He was born May 13, 2012 (4 years old).
The duo lived outdoors, and have been learning all about the comforts of being indoor dogs in their respective foster homes. T-Bone is now nicely housetrained and doesn't have any accidents in the house. What a good boy!

T-Bone is very social and adores all people! He is very affectionate and loves a nice cuddle. He does need to learn some boundaries, including keeping 4 paws on the floor.

T-Bone has had minimal opportunity to meet new dogs, and is showing some insecurity in this regard, which we are continuing to assess. He is in a foster home with two female dogs, and is doing well. He is becoming more playful all the time. He will benefit from confidence building and a confident handler. At this point, he would not be a candidate for dog parks, as he does best with proper (slow) introductions.
He appears to be fine with cats, but is not currently living with a cat in his foster home.
T-Bone is fond of children, but would be best with older kids while he learns boundaries and to keep all four paws on the floor. Visiting children would be just fine. He has spent time with his foster parent's grand kids and was a good boy. So sweet!

T-Bone as a wonderfully soft (gentle) mouth, is not destructive in the house, and he is super off-leash. Atta boy! He is also not much of a drooler. Bonus!

T-Bone is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines.
He is being fostered in the Ottawa area. Her approved adopters will be required to pick him up in person. An adoption donation of $500 will apply.
