All about Peggy

This adorable Newf/Lab mix is sweet as pie, affectionate, friendly and looking for love. She is a well-mannered girl who has lots of love to give, and is a truly great catch!

Those eyes! Swoon!
Peggy has been a well-loved gal who came to us through no fault of her own due to changes in her owner's life. She loves to lounge on the couch, get belly rubs, be brushed and generally showered with attention.

Woot!  Playtime in the snow!
She enjoys romping in the snow and chasing squirrels, going for long walks, and exploring every nook and cranny of her backyard. Someone who likes to get out and go for walks will be a great match for her. Her leash manners need a little fine tuning but are not too bad overall.

Peggy's seems to know a few commands but needs some work to ensure that she follows direction when told to rather than "thinking about it" for a bit, before complying. (Must be the Lab in her!) Her foster family will start working on this right away. She is very food motivated so should be easy to work with.
Oh, that smile! Such a sweet gal!
She could join a home with another well-mannered companion to play with or would be equally happy being the only dog in the household. She'd prefer a home without a young hooligan who will be in her face pestering her though. A nice, gentle playmate would be best

Peggy is spayed and has been brought UTD on her vaccines. Her bloodwork is all normal and she appears to be in good health other than needing to drop a few pounds. She is a Newf mix, about the size of a retriever.

An adoption donation of $400 will apply.
