Drum roll please........Mackenzie, the girl who refused to be spayed, has finally been spayed!!!!!! Mac had surgery today and all went well. She also had her cherry eye operated on, and unfortunately the damage from it being left untreated for 4 years by her previous owner was more extensive than anticipated. There is a 30% chance her surgery was successful. We will know in a few days. If it wasn't we will be taking her in for a second surgery by an ophthalmologist. Either way, she should be ready to join a loving family very soon.She's a sweet girl, affectionate and playful, and will make a great addition to the right family. Charlie is doing great in his foster home. This sweet boy is a real love bug and will make one lucky family very happy! Beautiful Ruby is recovering very well from her emergency spay surgery and will be having her sutures removed and vaccines administered on Tuesday the 18th. She will be ready to go after then.
