What a personality!  Baloo is a very sweet boy who gets along with everyone he meets.  He is friendly, affectionate; a true gentle giant.

This sweet boy gets along well with other friendly dogs, plays nicely and could happily join a family with another four footed playmate.

Baloo arrived with an untreated skin issue.   Blood-tests and skin scrapings have all shown no serious issues and with a healthy diet and topical treatment of his skin we are seeing great improvement and expect to have his issues resolved soon.  He is feeling much better!

Baloo has a cyst on his foot that is infected.  We are treating the infection and will remove the cyst once he is healthy enough for his neuter surgery -- Baloo needs to gain weight, and have his skin issues under control before we will proceed with surgery.

Foster to adopt placements will be considered now with families who live near one of our rescue friendly clinics (Mississaugua, Apsley, Fergus, Markham, Brantford.)  In this arrangement, Baloo could join his adoptive family before his medical hold is lifted.  We would continue to cover all costs associated with his medical care until he is cleared for adoption, at which time his adoption would then be finalized.  The benefit of this arrangement is that he gets to join an adoptive family sooner, and a foster space is freed up for another Newf in need.  If you would like to learn more about this option, please email us.
