With the holiday season upon us our volunteers are busy with holiday commitments and will be taking a little break over Christmas. We will still be checking emails daily and are available in an emergency to intake any Newfs in need over the holidays, but non-emergency emails and phone calls will be returned after the holidays and no further adoptive homes will be screened before Christmas.
We'd like to extend a big THANK YOU to Pet Valu in Kanata on Hazeldean Rd. They have allowed us to set up an Angel Tree for fosters from Newf Friends, HART and Willow Afghan Hound Rescue. River continues to make great progress recovering from her second TPLO surgery. Her recovery is coming along very well, she is no longer painful, and she is nearly ready to join an adoptive family. We are now accepting applications for River's adoption. Read about River here.
