Adopter Update - Penelope

Remember Penelope?? She entered our rescue program in January 2011 as an underweight, unsocialized young girl who needed eye surgery and lots of help to be confident and happy. She spent four months in foster care having her medical and socialization needs taken care of before being adopted by a wonderful family. Well look at her now!! We just received this update:

Penelope with her brother Angus

Hi Allison!  Sorry I haven't sent an update sooner.  Penelope is doing great!  She and Angus are best friends and they play and wrestle all day.  She's learned to swim and has made a bunch of new dog friends.  Still working on meeting new people but she's vastly improved.  She's gained 5 lbs. and her fur is nicely filling out.  Her obedience is really coming along too.  She loves our house in Vermont too. Everything is great.  Thanks so much.

Kerri

P.S. I've sent a few pictures and her announcement.

Best friends!
